I got hooked on anime in the late 90's. Now i watch with my 16y old son, going through classics and favourites together. I enjoy visual novels, manga and alot of media from Japan.
In older age (35) I've gotten increasingly more interested in Japanese culture. I understand alot of spoken Japanese, but can't read or write. I'm great at English though, and ofcourse excellent at Swedish, since it's my native language.
Japanese culture is cool to an outsider who's pretty much grown up with it, without being a part of it. Obviously from a distance, it would be a highlight of my life to experience Japan together with my son at some point.
