I've spent about 18 months in Kumamoto over the past seven years. I've been to 39 countries, and spent more than a month in half of them, and Japan is my favorite. I like the cleanliness, the lack of antisocial behavior, and the commitment to being excellent at your work. I do not like the summer weather! I've spent the past seven years traveling, and I've now gotten my travel bug out of my system and would like to settle down in Japan for at least the next few years. In mid-October I'll be taking a two week Shinkansen trip to see as much of Japan as possible. If you contact me and we hit it off, I'd be eager to come through your city for a day or two to meet up., especially if you live in a nice part of Japan.
