Though I’ve never set foot in Japan my heart has been long drawn to its culture, value and people. From childhood I was captivated by Japanese anime and samurai history, which me start learning the language, traditions and even try my hands on cooking Japanese dishes. I admire the harmony, respect and attention to detail in the Japanese life. As a Nigerian I find deep cultural parallels in hospitality, family values and community spirits. I’m excited to mingle with people who share a passion for Japan and perhaps build meaningful relationships that bridge our different worlds.
